It's been a long time between home games for Monsignor Farrell, and playing host seemed to agree with the Lions last night as they did everything right in a 76-35 SIHSL win over New Dorp.

"We haven't been home in quite awhile," said Farrell coach Bob Besignano, whose team improved to 12-2 overall and 3-1 in the SIHSL. "We played at home the first game (Thanksgiving Eve vs. Mount Airy of North Carolina) and, I believe, the game against St. Peter's and that's it."

If yesterday is any indication, visiting teams are going to have trouble in Oakwood. The Lions outscored ND 33-4 in the game's first 12 1/2 minutes, with all but five points coming from the Farrell duo of James Hett (game-high 21 points) and Ryan Rossiter (20 points).

FYI...Rossiter...6-8, is going to Siena....

Do we know anything about Ryan Rossiter, Tony? His older brother was recruited by MU, but opted to go to Davidson, another solid mid major program. Is the younger brother being looked at by MU? Should he be?
