Weequahic? Hmm, sounds like a powerhouse to me. Good to see Deltufo playing solid though right? He cant choose his opponents.

I can only surmise the person who made that statement does not think Weequahic is very good.

All of the big men for next season will be freshmen or reshirt freshmen. Do you think or know if MU is looking at or recruiting any juco transfers with the (2?) remaining scholarships?

I know they do not usually go this route but it may add some experience at these positions. Wilson did not work out that well but Crosby did a few years ago.

MU coaches have talked about it....BUT...as far as I know, they are not actively recruiting any at the moment. Am going to double check. Personally, I think they should be.

Actually, there may well be THREE scholarships for next year -- if you know who bolts MU!

As for Monmouth coaches not 'actively' recruiting -- what are they waiting for -- 2 (or 3) kids to just slip by everyone else and wind up at Shadow Lawn?

As far as I know they are not actively recruiting JUCOS - which is what I was referring to - as we speak (again, I am going to double check). But, I wouldn't be surprised if they have a list of possibilties they may be checking out in some fashion. And they are certainly recruiting high schoolers.

Though I may be forgetting someone here off the top of my head, Monmouth's big men over recent years, Bunch, Blake, Boxler, have been better than anyone or just about anyone Howie and CCSU have put out there.
