Prediction, etc. Let's try this again

Hit the wrong button a few moments ago..story of my life...

Anyway.. Hello....anybody home out there? Man, they lose one game and the comments vanish faster than a snowflake in August. Talk about abandoning ship...

MU has got to get some pressure on the Sac Hrt QB, if not another long afternoon could loom. But if you look at last week..the turnovers skewered the entire game..made MU look much worse than it is..and SBU probably a little better than it is though am not taking anything sway from SBU, Cutino, or Dudash, and the Seawolves.

But MU is now in a "must win" situation and it will stay that way for the rest of the season. So they can't afford to over look even the Toms River Pop Warner if it was on the schedule.

Sacred Heart defense, especially the pass defense, is suspect.

By the way, one time I'd like to see MU try a bomb to Bilal Morris..fastest kid (well quickest) on the team

Prediction record: 1-1. This week MU, 28-13 (I think).

Your thoughts?

Tony-
Do you know why the Hawks dont blitz more? With a talented linebacking corps you would think they could create more pressure and sacks by blitzing. Have they blitzed more in past seasons?

Good point, one I have asked coach Callahan about this year and last.
He said last week vs. SBU they attempted 10 blitzes (of different varities) and after a game last year when MU was not too successful in getting to a q back he also made the same comment.

I don't doubt him...but it's obvious these blitzes (at least this year) are not very successful. I can only recall seeing one last week and it was picked up, but that doesn't mean there weren't others. When I watch a game I am focusing on the qback and really not looking at who's coming from the LBs, secondary, or whatever.

Saturday vs. SHU I am going to try and pay more attention to the defenses (on both sides) in at least obvious throwing situations.

We get spoiled by watching games on TV when they can replay each key development.
