Marques Alston sprains ankle/Guess who was late for the MU bus to practice today?

I am at Quinnipiac where Marques Alston is not practicing today after spraining an ankle late in Thursday's game. Trainer Adam Smith said Alston is "questionable" for the Quinnipiac game Saturday.

As for who misesd the bus?

1. Alex Blackwell
2. Rich Conover
3. Tony Tamburello
4. Rickie Crews
5. The mayor of West Long Branch

By any chance did you select Rickie Crews? You're correct. I imagine it wasn't that difficult a choice.

So I guess MU fans don't have to consider him a possibility to play any time soon though Dave has not talked about the latest Rickie caper "officially" yet.

How does this happen to this kid? It's amazing.

If Alston cannot play, and assuming Crews is out as well, and with Simpson hurt, and Shipman not playing, MU will have seven scholarship players available for the game including seldom used Shawn Barlow and eight players total including walk-on Steve Bazaz. Quinnipiac usually plays about 10-11 guys.

Currently Mark Calzonetti is talking to the team, going over the defensive assignments. Coach Kenny is revewing the need for a controlled offense and hitting the glass. Now Dave is working on the offense.

Who was ricky's roommate for the trip. Who ever that was is just as responsible for him. Its a team and they all have to watch each other's back. I'm definately not defending crews because I think he is showing how immature he is. But I think the team aspect goes a long way when you make sure everyone is on the bus and ready to go!

While I see your point...10-year olds are expected to be on time for school.

A scholarship athlete can't make it on time to a bus without being led by the hand??

If you read Whitney Coleman's comments in the Press story for tomorrow he says along the lines that Rickie needs to be a little more mature.

I like Rickie personally, he has been very cordial and friendly to me..but a team needs to know it can depend on an athlete to be on time for a bus, practice, game, etc. ..just as an employer needs to know he can depend on an employee to be on time for a job...etc., etc.

Do you think I'm going to oversleep or miss the game tomorrow (barring some calamity)? And would the Press be really thrilled about it if I did?

Now watch me have a flat tire!

I think the person who said that ricky's roommate should be held just as responsible is absolutely crazy. Tony you nailed it perfectly, why do grown men need to have their hand held throughout life. Getting on a bus by a certain time is easier than passing a class.

To Bob Curran: This is violation #10 in case youve been asleep for the season.
