Soccer reflections
This was one of the most exciting soccer games, college or otherwise, I have ever seen.
Who says a 1-0 game has to be boring? Each side with several scoring chances. End to end (to borrow an ice hockey term) action.
Schenkel's save in the first half was outstanding. Where does McCourt get these kids?
I understand the soccer budget has gone up in the wake of last year's success.
Hugh MacDonald has NCAA experience with Va. Tech which should help the Hawks.
Be interesting to see who MU is matched up against and where. Might be a fairly local location. NCAA usually keeps teams in their regional areas in early round action.
Women's team has 10 starters back next year.

OOPS! My bad. Hugh MacDonald came here from VCU which is where McCourt was coaching before coming to MU. (Hey, Va. is a big state you know!) Seriously, good thing he's here! Again, my error.
