MU women win

Two goals by Northeast Conference Player and Rookie of the Year, Ocean Township High School graduate Andrea Lopez, carried the Monmouth University women's soccer team past Central Conn. State Friday, 2-1, in an NEC Tournament semifinal match. The Hawks (14-3-2) , the No. 2 seed, will play top-seeded Long Island U. (12-7-2) 1 p.m. Sunday in Brooklyn for the title.
