Soccer reflections II, a busy week for MU
Who would have ever thought we'd ever see MU soccer on the front page of the Press (nice picture by Tanya Breen), the Press cover story on the web (last evening), etc.
Steve Edleson will be covering the "Soccer Selection Show" today at MU and will have a story for tomorrow and then another later this week about the team as it heads to the NCAAs.
We may try to send a reporter if the game is played fairly local...as the NCAA tends to open the tournament keeping teams in their regions for the most part.
Of course there's MU football this weekend.. the big game at Albany ..and men's and women's hoops openers. While all events will be covered by the Press we can't physically be every where.
We'll know more later today after the NCAA selection show. But, what a weekend and week!
And the MU women's soccer team should be very good again next year! I would think the men, too, though MacDonald and Holloway will be key losses.
