I still have hope. But it is honestly a long shot. Just imagine if they didn't lose to SBU...we'd be talking Top 25.
assuming it is the last game; what needs to get done for next year?
what is happening with SB? are they jumping leagues/
Is MU married to the NEC?
I'll get to these comments later when I can. Thank you for your patience and keep 'em coming!.
SBU leaving NEC. Plans to be independent next year. Many changes coming to 1-AA football. From what I hear A-10 going to dissolve..some schools going onto new Colonial Conference. America East about to start football from what I hear (future home of SBU which is AE in hoops?). Look for some of the NEC weak sisters, Wagner, SFPA, etc. to opt to leave for the MAAC.
What does this do to the NEC? Good question. Does it fold? Do others come in?
MU is "married" to the NEC but so was Stony Brook in football anyway and they bailed out though paying a $40,000 penalty. Though "penalties" could be incurred, I believe MU and anyone can leave.
I want to do more on this when I get a chance when soccer and hs football is over.
