Florida report: Toms River East and TR South both won their Flordia finales Friday night as Shore Conference teams ended 15-0 for the week vs. non-conference opponents.

This under played rivalry never gets the attention it warrants so today it will. It's a non-division game. Township has a big division game Thursday when it hosts No. 1 CBA.




Brick begins its run through the Toms River gauntlet today hosting Toms River North with senior Mike Murano on the mound. Our thanks to former Brick coach Pat Foley who told us Brick has not won an A South title since 1982 when it shared the crown with Toms River South. Toms River East (one-game back of Brick) is trying to become the first A South team to win or share six division titles in a row. The teams clash Thursday in Brick. TR South visits Brick Tuesday.
