Northeast Conference To Partner With 1050 ESPN Radio On Weekly Hoops Segment
“NEC Notebook” To Air Eight Consecutive Weeks From January Through March

The Northeast Conference (NEC) and 1050 ESPN Radio, “The Sports Talk of New York,” have partnered to launch a weekly segment entitled “The NEC Notebook.” Hosted by longtime NEC announcer and ESPN Radio personality Paul Dottino, the vignette will feature all the latest NEC basketball news and highlight upcoming conference television games. The partnership also includes 16 SportsCenter billboard mentions for the NEC over the course of the season.

“The NEC is excited to partner with 1050 ESPN Radio,” said NEC Commissioner Brenda Weare. “It's great exposure for the conference on a station with such a vast and knowledgable sports fan base.”

The first “NEC Notebook” will air on January 18th during the Stephen A. Smith (between 12:00 pm and 1:00 pm) and Brandon Tierney (between 7:00 pm and 10:00 pm) Shows. The segment will run for eight consecutive weeks, culminating with a Wednesday, March 7th airing as a prelude to the NEC Men’s Basketball Championship game later that evening.

Schedule of broadcasts
Thursdays (between 12:00 pm and 1:00 pm): January 18 & 25, February 1, 8, 15 and 22, March 1
Thursdays (between 7:00 pm and 10:00 pm): January 18 & 25, February 8
Wednesday (between 12:00 pm and 1:00 pm): March 7
Wednesday (prior to 7:00 pm): March 7

“The NEC Notebook” will also be available for download on the league’s official website at www.northeastconference.org. It can also be heard on 1050 ESPN Radio’s live webstream at www.1050espnradio.com.
