Re: The MAC/ Some questions for you
Do you think:
1. MU and WLB will reach a compromise agreement prior to or at the Jan. 25 Zoning Board meeting to allow construction of the MAC.
2. The two sides will not reach agreement and the matter will go to court.
3. MU will win in court.
4. WLB will win in court
5. In the end...do you think the MAC will ever be built?
Along with MU students/fans/etc. ..I would especially like to hear from WLB residents how they feel on this subject...you can identify yourselves, or blog on as anonymous from WLB (if you are afraid your neighbors may get upset with you!)

I'll go with option one. MU will reduce the size and the amount of capacity events and they'll work out a deal with West Long Branch to go ahead. The building will be in place by July 2009
Numero uno...I don't see MU losing this case in court and I don't see West Long Branch taking them to court with the recent concessions MU has made.
MU must keep up with the rest of the conference as far as facilities are concerned. I think anyone in the neighborhood should have realized before they moved there that the probability of growth was high. Also I think MU has to do a better job of recruiting locally to fill the arena they would like to build. Honest and respectful negotiation is the key to a fair compromise that all can live with.
MU hoops has gotten Marques Alston, Chris Kenny, Jason Krayl all in the past 5-6 years locally. All of them were solid for MU, I think that's pretty good at recruiting locally no? There's not many D-I players each year from the shore in case you havent noticed.
