MU football
Looking at the Sunday Press..eight members of the All-Shore First Team mentioned Monmouth and a few others are interested or vice versa..... MU had some recruits in Saturday, with more scheduled for next weekend as far as I know.

Looked on the net for the article in the Sunday Press about the eight who mentioned Monmouth as their choice.
Could not find it.
Please run a copy of it.
Thanks
I don't know if the All-Shore football individual capsules ran on line...
Here are the names of individuals that were mentioned by the specific players as their being interest from, or were interested, in MU...
Tom D'Ambrisi (QB, DB) Monmouth Regional
Dave Dosil (RB/LB) Middletown South
Brady Doyle (RB, DB, etc.) Toms River East
Carmen Falcso (PK) Raritan
Chris Lewnes (WR) SJ Vianney
Brian England (DL) Raritan
Dan Hopkins (LB) Jackson... Monmouth tops his list ...
Arin West (DB) TR North
There were other All-Shore players I know MU had been looking at (meaning at least considering recruiting) or vice versa but, for whatever reason, MU was not listed with their capsules.
Looks like a great group of players. Our recruiting is really bring a better quality of players with scholarships.
I think MU will put a bigger emphasis on recruiting defense this year. SInce we loss more on that side of the ball.
I believe you are correct in that there will be an emphasis on defense in this recruiting class.
Tony,
Thank you for the list.
I agree with the comment about recruiting MU defense players.
We had a great defense this year.
Attended the Homecoming game and was amazed at the size of the defensive line.

MU just doesn't recruit Shore players. This was just a list of All-Shore players named in connection with Monmouth recruiting, one way or the other.
MU recruits heavily from all over NJ and has suited up players from Maryland, Pa., N.Y. State, etc..though the bulk of its recruiting has historically been in NJ. Even with scholarships, I would not expect that to dramatically change. They can just go after better players.
