ROBERT MORRIS LOST AGAIN-- to Wagner this time....rough road trip for them. They were similar to LIU for the drive and kick--they just couldn't hit from the outside like LIU did...wagner ended the first half on a 15-2 run--their first time this year having a halftime lead...

Hey TG

Its Tim Walker. I listen to the game on the radio. It sounds like this kid Youngblood is the real deal. They need to get him on the floor more. Not seeing them in person I really cannot comment on anything else. This loss is not good for the hawks. They have awhile to make some changes and retool for the NEC Play. Lets not count these guys out remember RMU is 0-2 in the conference. So there is a long way to go

Tim Walker
TG-Any thoughts on A.I situation??

Our centers once again ZERO production for a D-1 program, together 3pts ,4 rbs ,4 T/O in 34 minutes of PT,WOW. Once again our point guard 6 T/O poor judgement when the game was on the line, he rushed and T/O game over. Now Marques and Delic 2-6 from the foul line, where is the leadership from the SR ? and 21 total team T/O you cant win at any level.Time for a major change in the line up and player PT. 20 days to improve or the season is over, the only good news will be that Dave quote of" six years of winning ...." will be over and gone for a few years.

Lets face it now Youngblood is so much better then Shipman.Dave has to see it,I would put the ball in his hands when the game is on the line every time.Get Rickey out of trouble and play him at the Center , he will out play and produce Bunch and Corey every day of the week .Lets find a group of players that want to win and not worry about their STATS and PT .

Your quote - "the only good news will be that Dave quote of" six years of winning ...." will be over and gone for a few years"

Assuming you are an MU follower, don't know why you would have such glee if this run does come to a halt...makes little sense to me...

Tony What changes would you make and when? or should we just sit back and relax?

Tough lose tonight. The guard play was good but no rebounds again from the big men. A couple of turnovers late and that was it. We've got to find a way to get the opponents 3 point shooting percent down.

Tony, You were right, not much depth especially with Simpson and Crews not playing.

Ok Tony, hmmmm! Close you eyes for a second. Now just imagine if Youngblood had the minutes and the floor like he did in the last 12 mins of the LIU game. Wow, the possiblility. Any way, back to reality. Now as for last night I counted about 8 possible points missed with the kid solo under the basket - 2 of which resulted in T/O's and UH getting 3's. They (teamates) just refused to allow him the ball. Just my opinion, but i guess if I were a veteran player and a freshman came in and made 20 in the last 12 mins of previous game, I'd hold him down too. Not!!!!

I don't think that's the case. Certainly I would hope not.

Players respect talent. I think the game is played too fast for someone to be thinking....""Well..let's see, Player A is open, but he's a freshman so I'm not going to give him the ball."

And...Exhibit A, who was Shipman trying to pass to with MU looking to at least tie the score with 12 seconds left?

By the way...an odd note....there were only four foul shots attempted in the first half..all by MU.

Come on now Tony,
Give your listening audience some credit now. I don't know if you have EVER played any organized sport however I am sure you are familiar with the "GOLDEN RULE" - "Never Let a FRESHMAN Take Your Spot". I understand you have to take a bias stance but cut it out. Give me a break, you know like we know - veteran players are not trying to hear a freshman out shining them. This was a classic case of the above. Unfortunately, it ended up with a loss.

How you underestimate me...I played organized wiffle ball.

Anyway..here is a golden rule..it's called WINNING BASKETBALL GAMES.

And anyone on MU or anywhere else on on any team that doesn't understand this... wouldn't be playing for me...that's for sure.

The classic cases of the defeat Saturday had, in my opinion, nothing to do with veteran players leery of a freshman out shining them (more like turnovers, poor foul shooting, defense, etc.)

and Please refer to Exhibit A in my prior comment.
