Ocean wins, 13-6
Ocean ended with 15 hits, seven for extra bases. Matt Segall (7-0) allows one run over three solid innings to restore order and get the win. A big night for "Tuna" Weinkofsky, Eric Hinkle, and Greg Spatz.
The 19 runs scored were one off the SCT championship game record in the event that began in 1980.
Weinkofsky missed by less than a foot in the first inning of becoming the first high school player to hit two home runs at First Energy as he ripped a triple that nearly bore a hole though the chain link fence in deep left center. He blasted one out earlier this year vs. Southern. He'll probably have a few chances in 2007.
