Has anyone watched Alisa Kresge and the Marist women their last two games over Ohio State and Middle Tennessee?
Now THAT'S how you play point guard. You don't have to score a ton of points or be a flashy athlete at the position. You run your team and play with intelligence and also work like heck on defense. And, of course, the whole team has to be on the same page. And a few good players and a balanced offense help, too.!
Kudos to Brian Giorgis, the Marist coach. One of the most outstanding jobs I have ever seen.
But now theyve got to play Tenn....uh oh!

Nick Del Tufo is listed on one of the rosters for this Sunday's all star game at the Ritacco Center (2:30). Chance to get a look-see on one of our recruits.
Re - Del Tufo. I know. I won't be able to be there, but anyone who does attend could give us a report. In games like these it's often more difficult for the forwards to shine because the ball is in the hands of the guards so often.
What does Del Tufo have to do with Marist women's basketball or the NCAA tournament?
Well....nothing really. But since someone wanted to discuss him..why not?

Haven't heard much lately. Been tied up with..high school baseball. Will check again soon...
There's a signing period coming up in April for hoops I believe.
