We have gotta step it up. The way these two teams are playing you would think that SFPA is the one that has a chance to get in the NEC tourney and MU is the one that is last place team that has nothing to play for! IT IS REDICULOUS!

WOW eye sore that was a joke not one person showed me they wanted to win if I didn't know that we needed to win this game to get in I would have never thought that our season came down to this it is soooo disappointing dont forget the fact this is the worst team in the league

Well
let the negativity begin. eveyone start calling for Daves head. they will be fine this league is a guard oriented league and with the jet, coleman and shipman back I believe they will be ok next year.

No more six straight winning seasons to tout Davey. Now you have another first to boast my friend. 1st Nec coach to be picked pre-season number one and not make the NEC tourney. Congrats, Coach. Keep working hard it's doing wonders for your career.

Senior Recap:

Nothing to put here. They all have zero heart and no leadership. Deki, maybe the most overrated MU player since Dwayne Byfield. You guys went out with a bang. Nice work boys.

To Calloway get out -- at least get your facts straight. Quinnipaic was picked first several years back and wound up 10th.

Trying to doing anything close to sugar coating this season is unacceptable. Everyone involved with the program needs to look themselves in the mirror and say how I can do a better job. Finishing behind a team like St. Franics NY, that hardly belongs in Division I, is a complete disgrace.

9:11 PM, February 26, 2007
Anonymous Anonymous said...

If Calloway was a man he turn in his KEYS like Wayne Szoke did before we go 1-13 next year. Don't give me the crap about Wayne and our AD BS ,He quit because he lost touch with the players.Following Wayne Szoke foot steps.

unfortunately, or maybe not so unfortunate for me i did not get to watch the video of this game. i was working late and listened to the last 15 minutes of the 2nd half on the radio. what a tough season. players and coaches are to blame, every single one of them. the only ones who shouldnt be blamed are the MU fans, which stuck with this team through a rough year.

9:13 PM, February 26, 2007

Tim, this team didnt lose because they weren't good enough. They stunk this season, and at points, it was embarrassing.

I think its fair to say MU has an above average talent pool year and year out, compared to most NEC teams. This team is carried by its defense, and Dave learned that D from playing here. He lost this team a long time ago. Its hard to even call them a team. I dont believe they're bad kids, I believe he lost their confidence.

So yes, I will call for his head, but that doesnt mean he's going anywhere. I think he'll be there till the day i die.

MU RPI 353 the worst D-1 TEAM in America.. But we have Dave Calloway he is always right His Players are always wrong.

You know..you want to bury Calloway you're allowed to vent here. But geez..at least get the facts right.

MU RPI is in the mid 250's..nothing great to be sure..but it is far from the worst DI team in America. It's not even the worst RPI in the NEC. Get it right please.

You MU fans should be ashmed. Who ever posts anonymously calling for Dave's head is a moron. I clearly think Howie is the best coach in the NEC hands down, but Dave is certainy #2 or #3.

Yes, this team underachived. Maybe part of that can be placed on the coach, but the team didn't have a leader on the court. The kids didn't have the desire or concentration of previous teams. They din't have playmakers who meshed togeather.

A much as I can't stand Kenny, he was heart and leadership. You may have had talent, but you lacked team. Those MU teams that made the NCAAs were a team with an identity. This team did not.

You guys will rebound and get back in the tourney next year, but please be reaistic in your assesment of MU and the NEC. There is a lot of parity in this league and you don't beat the St. Francis twins without playing a good game. The name on the jersey means nothing.

Unless you personally know the kids, how can you say they have no heart??!! The seniors can have all the heart they want, but without the support of the rest of the team, they will not and did not win! Did anyone look at the stats for last game??!! "The Jet" as you like to call him had 31 points NO ASSISTS!!! For a point guard that stinks. So the team losing was a collective effort, just not the seniors! I am sure they are just as disappointed as anyone else. As much as you people rip on this team and the players I sure hope that none of the players' family memebers read this.

A summary of Dave calloway:

"This team was not committed to defense, THEY were not committed to each other. Therefore, it was not a team."

Way to take some blame dave!

I dont think they were commmitted to their coach, cant say i blame them. He's lost touch. Maybe a close game vs Nova was the high point of his career, its all down hill from here.

Look out guys, next year may be worse.
