Do you think CCSU has some motivation for Thursday night?
A win Thursday would probably be extra special for CCSU
as it would:
Clinch the regular season NEC title and top seed in the NEC Tournament
Would complete the Blue Devils' first regular season sweep since 2001-2002 of the Hawks who defeated them seven games in a row until last month
Would clinch the title at the expense of Monmouth which ended their season
the last three years
And, finally, end a six game losing streak at Boylan Gym.

CCSU has been putting up the points but is not generally a running team..especially with just five guys who play the bulk of the minutes......
This game is not looking good for the Hawks. It would be awesome to see the Hawks prevent CCSU from clinching, but I just don't see it happening. Unless the blue and white can pull a trick out of their hat, this game will get ugly fast. One key to the games that I have noticed is to keep Bunch out of the fast moving games. He looks dazed and confused out there when hes running 10 seconds behind every play.
