Advisory update - I'm on line. This thing works!!!/standings/schedules

Am on line from Phila. . I plan to attend MU men's practice later Thursday at least that's the pl;an for the moment if I can get back in time ....either way will have story for Friday Press....

A couple of things...Whitney Coleman told me Wednesday night has has some tendinitis in both knees..also Deki hurt his hand in practice at some point Wednesday and did not practice there after....Corey Hallett (nose injury) was wearing the Marisa Jimenez Memorial face mask... don't think any of these injuries are serious but will be checking today...

Did any of the Calloway critics read Gaffney's comments? Calloway on Bunch? Reactions?
I think MU would like Mount to beat Wagner tonight..

I'm not sure why anyone is even talking about the status of Dave's job. This is the first year the program has hit a bumpy road. For those of you who don't understand the way MU works, not many people get fired around here. Especially not someone who help build the program like Dave has. He's got a pretty long rope so I don't think he has anything to worry about just yet. If we are still talking about this stuff 2 years from now, then we may have an issue. Right now it's just a bump in the road. President Gaffney and Marilyn are not even thinking about this topic, it's not even on the radar.

Tony,
I wouldn't be so quick to root for the Mount vs.Wag.If we end up in a 3-way tie with LIU and MSM we get the 8th seed and the Mount is out.I f we end up in a 3-way with WAG and LIU we, more than likely need to beat SHU(to get to 8-10) and have them or RMU jump up to 2or 3(behind QU) seed. Also we will need FDU to stay behind these three teams. If we finish tied with WAG and LIU and lose to SHU and they and FDU finish higher than RMU we our out.Are you totally confused now?

To free throw - first of all - a grrr.....rreat screen name! Rates high honorable mention of the screen names. My No. 1 choice soon.

As for Dave - you sound like a sane person. So why are you on this board????

Ok...just kidding. There are mostly sane, thoughtful, reasonable, hi basketball IQ persons on this board.

Nice to hear from one on this subject.

Thanks for the kudos Tony, I think my sanity may be slowing going away with this hawks season! I'm with you, I have no idea what this tie-breaker stuff means at this point. I just hope we get a win......and oh yeah.......HIT A FREE THROW!!!!!
