Ok, here's the plan.
Since I was unable to make it to LIU tonight (Steve Edelson is there for the Press and we will run his game story on the blog later) everyone is invited to make comments here as the game progresses.
As usual - announcer and or player bashing just for the sake of same will not be permitted..... Now I just hope I can pick up the game on my PC...
The game is on Sportsjuice which I find is often easier to pick up than off the X web site..

Well...it could have been worse..for MU to win..LIU needs to cool off from 3...

The SAME PROBLEMS seem to be hurting us AGAIN tonight...
1. Poor rotation on defense
2. Missed free throws
-Too many 3 point forces it seems, trying to match LIU.
-Letting LIU dictating pace, that won't get it done.
-Where are Deki and Marques? Deki 1-5 from 3 ouch, and Marques 2 early fouls limiting his effectiveness....
Bunch and Shipman seemed to bring some energy and hustle off of the bench, on a positive note.
This kid in the studio that they have here on halftime is EXCELLENT. Just a note for those who constantly bash WMCX broadcasts. He is insightful and intelligent. Until this Maryland conversation came up, anyway.
Shipman has no court sense or bball IQ period. Launching a three early in the shot clock, completely no clue. The kid is 4-37 from 3 this year. Give it up already.
John Bunch, great first half. Tony, if any Hawk makes all-NEC this year, it has to be Bunchy. He has been dominant for the Hawks of late.
Delic, ugggh. I know he got hot late, but his game bothers me so much.

Ship seemed to be playing well..until he launched that 3.....just seems to get caught up in the emotion at times like that...I don't mind (too much) Delic taking 3's..that's his game.....
Maybe Marques presence in second half will maske a difference..they just can't LIU go off on a 3-point tear...

Who cares? This defense is pathetic, it makes no difference whether we win or lose. Deep down this team has little heart or character. The D stinks! Its sad sad and pathetic.
