MU men's hoops: Friday practice
The White (second) team defeated the Blue (first) 35-27 in a 29-minute game. Everyone (yes, Rickie, too) was present and accounted for. I thought red-shirt Adam Dobriansky looked good today.. rebounding and making shots inside.
Mike Shipman has been playing well for the White in recent practices. However, there are no signs of anything new in his status of being academically ineligible. Apparently he thinks he will get a grade changed, but the coaches appear to have no inkling of that.
Yaniv Simspon stayed after practice for extra shooting as did Jhamar "the Jet" and "The Mayor" my new nickname for walk-on T.J. Tibbs. That's meant as a compliment of course because he's so friendly and outgoing.

Wanted to mention that Yaniv Simpson, Jhamar Youngblood, and walk on T.J. Tibbs stayed after practice for extra shooting today. Since I made an issue the other day on how few players I have seen
staying after practice for extra work I feel obligated for a while to mention when they do.
