MU men's hoops: 30 or less a first half defensive magic number

MU is 6-1 this year and has won nine of its last 11 games when holding an opponent to under 30 points in the first half. The recent exception would be ODU this season , trailing 29-14 at the break, and the Villanova NCAA game last year when it trailed 27-16 at the half.

Otherwise - the last time MU won when an opponent tallied 30 or more points in the first half was the LIU NEC game last year when it trailed at the half, 34-30.

Last year MU went 10-3 when holding an opponent to 30 or less at the half..so that makes it 16-4 over the the last 20.
