Midnight Madness at MU?

Would anyone like to see MU hold a Mid Night Madness for men and women hoops for first practice. Women would do it. Have held their own Madness practices in the past.

Dave Calloway and I have gone round and round on this for some time (not that he ever listens to me which is normally a good thing).

He believes in a serious practice right from the get go. Nothing wrong with that but, especially coming off such a season in 2005-2006 I was wondering if a Madness might not have been a rousing way to launch 2006-2007.

It's not going to happen this year but what about future seasons. Comments? Thoughts?
