Perhaps one of the longest games of my life. I was really pulling for a Hawk win in the end to make it all seem almost worth it.
Yeh....too undisciplined..Plus RMU has some really good players (five JC's and one D1 transfer). They finish, and don't miss the easy hoops.
Great game for the men and a painful loss for the women. The men's team came out hot and held out for the win despite a fast tempo, some costly turnovers, and some great shooting from RMU. Deki and Bunch (2nd half, not first half) were definitely the difference makers tonight.
The women's game was more excruciating than a root canal. Too many turnovers and too many fouls made this game a terror.
Thank you John Bunch.... If you play with fire then MU wins the NEC.... Delic you were on fire make the BIG shot and MU wins...AND Marques keep kicking Ass and MU wins... Go Hawks
Although after celebrating and thinking about the game, I did not really think about Calloway's foul. Curran's point of view has made me think that it might've played a bigger role than many people think. However, I also think that the RMU's stupid technical may have more of an impact than the Calloway techinical because it really helped spark the MU rally. Again, the Hawks were awesome tonight and showed they are worth of all the praise they received at the beginning of the season. My apologies to John Bunch. I had thought the game was too fast tempo for him but he proved to be a stealthy contributor in this very close game.
