MU baseball

Since someone on the blog asked the other day -

I just talked with coach Ehehalt. Roster is not yet on the MU web site but I guess should be soon.

Basically this appears to be a young team with some good freshman arms but not many position players back. While Brad Brach returns to probably anchor the staff, another potential ace, Matt Marc-Aurele, who missed some critical late 2006 season starts, is coming off surgery and IF/P Brett Connor (arm woes) also apparently not ready yet. Catcher John Dennis may get a shot to pitch.

With the demise of SFNY baseball, MU will play each NEC opponent in four game series instead of three, with NEC games mainly Fridays, DHs Saturdays, and Sundays.

MU baseball players/ fans/ etc. feel free to offer your thoughts on the upcoming season and or players.

Softball/Lax, any other spring sports comments are welcome of course, too.

From all the (lack of) comments so far..I guess no one is in spring mode quote yet!

I for one am looking forward to the upcoming MU baseball season. My son now plays for MU as an Inf/OF. his name is Shawn Teters. We are from Springdale, Arkansas. Coach Ehehalt
recruited him from UA Fort Smith JC.
Looking forward to reading your blog and following the season from the MU website. We are going to make a trip out for the April Home games vs. long Island.

Go Hawks !!

Please keep us posted on MU baseball.
Enjoyed the comment from the father in Arkansas.
Would like to know what other players MU has signed for this year.
If in town I usually go to the games in Boca Raton.
Look forward each day to reading the blog.
Would be interesting to see how far your blog reaches - locations, states, etc.
