MU Football predictions
If MU had its top kickers going I, for one, would feel a lot more optimistic.
MU won the last three years vs. Albany with the difference being field goals and the last two games with Albany on game ending FG by Steve Andriola (2004) and Fred Weingart (last year) with winners between 23-26 yards. Freddie "the Foot" kicked three in last year's 9-6 win at the gun.
Sooo.. a good day by PK Mike Pizzulli and at least satisfactory punting by Andrew Mandeville is almost a must.
I hope I'm not putting too much pressure on these guys but, the situation is what it is. Also, MU must shore up its PAT, FG attempt procedures. Too many blocks this year including one PAT last week.
The outcome,of course, hardly rests soley on the kicking game though special teams looms as a factor in a potentially defensive struggle.
I still feel MU can score at last two TD, if MU doesn't turn the ball over, and it cannot give away touchdowns on either side of the ball.
My record: 7-1. (I didn't pick the first two games).
Just have a feeling: MU, 13-10.
SBU- CCSU (bonus pick). SBU won a close game at home last year, 23-21, and CCSU didn't have Justice ""Happy" Hairston.
This time, CCSU, 28-21.
Well.. why not?
