John Marx of No. 10 Freehold rifled a two-out, two-run double in the top of ninth inning Monday afternoon to send Freehold to a 5-3 win over No. 5 Monmouth Regional enabling the Colonials to remain in the Shore Conference Class B North hunt while damaging Monmouth's chances.


In a a Monday upset, Middletown South defeated No. 3 Freehold Township, 4-3.
