OCT postponed til next week!

Late evening word from our sister paper, the Ocean County Observer and Steve Falk, the Ocean County Tournament has now been postponed until next Saturday. However, that may run into problems of other previously scheduled games so exactly what happens next week or weekend remains to be seen. But the OCThas been rained out for this weekend.

My father, Al Kunzman, who founded the Ocean County Tournament in 1972, passed away in Oct 2006 and as a fitting tribute the 2006 Central Regional Baseball and Monsignor Donovan Teams are wearing a patch with the number 24 in honor of my father.
It would be the ultimate honor for the all of the teams participating in this year's OCT to honor the man that gave his passion to, not only Central Regional Baseball, but to Ocean County baseball, to wear his number on their sleeve.

Excellent idea. Have you also mentioned this to Steve at the Observer? Do you have a phone number where I can reach you?
