This former Colt a slugging Bronc

Had a chat with former CBA standout and current Rider slugger Gene Crimoli today for a story on Gene we're doing for Saturday's Community Section in the Press. The Rider senior first baseman is batting well over .300 and has set some career marks for the Broncs. He said after college he's hoping to continue his career.
""I've talked to a few (big league) scouts,'' said Crimoli. ""I'm hoping to get drafted. If that doesn't work out I'm also looking to go overseas to play in Italy, probably. You just want to hold onto it (playing baseball) for as long as you can. It's still fun for me.''
