Brach ends CBA streak, TR East rolls

Freehold Township ace Brett Brach ended the 27-game Class A North winning streak of CBA Thursday afternoon, 5-0. Brach allowed three hits and struck out nine and Tom Poricelli hit two triples and drove n three runs.



Also Thursday Toms River East avenged its opening night loss to Brick, 14-0, as Casey Gaynor homered and drove in five runs.
