Wow-
I remember when this blog used to not be inundated with large poll questions.
Discussion on this blog is definitely down from last year.
I am open to suggestions for topics....
Consider though..at this stage last year..MU football was picking up championship steam, and there was great anticipation for men's hoops...
Now, well, football is struggling for the first time since '02.
The outlook is gloomy for men's hoops, and soccer ( m & w), and women's hoops isn't enough to carry the day....
All the Soccer Fans just said OUCH Tony!!!
Will the ever come when we stop treating Soccer like the bastard child of sports.

Actually, as I post this, in my opinion, the vote of 14 (football) to 9 (including men's and women's soccer combined) isn't bad at all for soccer.
It marks a blend of MU football havng an off year and soccer's steady rise at MU...
Now - if this was last year in football - I think the margin would be higher for football which would also not be a slap at soccer, but a reflection of American sports interests...
