Cool new addition to the blog.
Speaking of Men's Soccer, FDU could be a hard fought game. If I remember lst years game it was a very physical match. Do you think Amato will be able to play tomorrow and do you know if Barbeiere will be ready? If they are healthy it might provide enough positive motivational force to put us over the top. Hopefully Andreas Klang will have a spot as well because I think he can act as a secret weapon.
We are getting into the time of year where the GK is critical and Schenkel's expereince should be a plus--fortunately the backup GK is no stranger to BIG games and will be capable if needed. This team is very deep and has been resilient to the injuries sustained thus far because of that.
Does anyone disagree that FDU and Qpac are the biggest challenges on the immediate horizon? I don't know much about Sacred Heart or Robert Morris other than what I read on websites---any insights?
Alvin,
I totally agree with you. Today's match and the following week will be a real gut check for us. If I heard correctly I don't think FDU's best play will be on the field today. I believe he is hurt.
If we an take these next 2 matches I believe we should be in good shape the rest of the way god willing we stay healthy. I think today's match will be a 1-0 win and the Qpac game will be the same score.
