MU softball report/from MU SID Eddie O.

MU won six of their eight games during the week, including 3-1 in their first two NEC series of the season, sweeping Quinnipiac on Saturday and splitting with CCSU on Sunday. The Hawks swept Seton Hall out of the Big East also this week.

The Hawks begin a season-long 12 game homestand this week when they host Manhattan (4/4), St. Francis (Pa..) (4/6) and Robert Morris (4/7), all doubleheaders.

The team seems awfully kinetic this year... I think this might be the season they finally capture an NEC crown.

I agree with you, they have a nice mix of veterans and young players, including two players in Alvarez and Simonetti who were all-nec first teamers as freshman a year ago. and they do seem very kinetic....
