Mike Shipman eligible!

Just got off the phone with Dave who said, ""He had work that was handed in and now he's eligible.
""He completed the course work, and the subsequent grade he received makes him eligible.''
Calloway said Shipman will play tonight at SFNY, coming off the bench.

Shipman, Monmouth's starting point guard, was averaging 6.8 ppg. and 4.9 apg. over Monmouth's first 11 games (he came off the bench for one).

He has missed the last seven games with freshman Jhamar Youngblood replacing him at the point though, in reality, MU was without a true point guard.

Shipman's 54 assists still lead the team. He also has 39 turnovers.

In those seven games he did not play MU won the first four, and has dropped the last three.

As I see it....Jhamar will continue to start and Mike will come off the bench though he will receive considerable playing time. Shipman will eventually move ahead of Alex Nunner as the No. 3 guard, though probably not tonight, though Shipman will play.

GREAT NEWS!!!
Will be listening tonight on the internet.
Ship should help with a win.
Let's give RC a chance to self destruct - which I think he won't do once he gets a chance to play.
MU 60 SF 47
