MU lacrosse update/from Greg Viscomi

Team Notes

NEC Standings

MSM 7-0

MU 5-1

Q pac 5-2

Monmouth had its 13 game conference win streak snapped on Friday with a 11-8 loss against Mount St. Mary’s… The Hawks also had a six-game win streak snapped with the loss… The Hawks are now in second place in the Northeast conference, with a showdown against Quinnipiac at Kessler Field looming on Friday… Mount St. Mary’s was also the last team to defeat MU in conference play, with the Mountaineers taking a 11-10 victory on April 24, 2005… Senior Katie Degen had her consecutive-game with a point streak broken at 47 games as the Mountaineers held her without a point… junior Megan Nutter, who was 14-for-14 in free position goals going into the game was 0-for-3 in Friday’s loss… Junior Ashley Waldman led the Hawks with four points on a trio of goals and an assist, while Nutter finished with a hat trick… Senior Kaitlyn Robinson had a career-high seven ground balls in the game, while adding a caused turnover… sophomore goaltender Monica Johnson tallied 11 saves in the game.

So - from me - looks like MSM will host the NEC Tournament
