MU post game news and notes...

Youngblood had his first career double double...also had four assists, three steals, and just two turnovers..he was teriffic..

.""Jet" was grounded the last few minutes after suffering what Calloway said was a bruised knee when he collided with Whitney (career tying seven assists) Coleman late in the game...Neither "Jet or Bunch (sore knees) will practice 3 p.m. Friday Calloway said but he believes they will be Ok for the following practice at noon Sunday...MU is off Saturday...

Finally someone else took some bad shots down the stretch..MU was still poor from the foul line 13-for-21 though Shipman picked up the slack in the second half when he hit seven of nine ..

Tony-

Who the hell is Jet? Why are you making up nicknames for kids?

The "Jet" is..Jhamar "The Jet" Youngblood..have called him that all year since Sept. Rickie Crews is "the Phantom."..so dubbed by a blogger..also known as "Rickie the Rookie..."

You are the first person who has an issue with the nick names....!

The players, coaches, etc. don't seem to mind.....or anyone else on the blog...and I'm not changing now!

That loss to Q pac in the only meeting between the teams means MU is - in effect..three games back of the Kitty Cats.

MU has a more realistic shot at a fourth seed and one home game.

It may have to do all but win out to latch onto a higher rung..in my opinion.

A win over first place CCSU would be very big as it would be one of the few NEC teams to then split with No. 1 which comes into play in tiebreakers.

Even if - a big if - MU wins out at home it has to figure out a way to win at LIU - which can't beat anyone but Monmouth, and at the Mount where MU hasn't won since 1812.

Bunch..second team? A few more triple doubles wouldn't hurt.

Everyone..I missed some of these posts from earlier today..just catching up with them now...

.Desantis...I like Joe...but have never been a big fan of his defense...

Here's a team MU could possibly visit in the second round..because unless they collapse MU not passing them as they lead MU by three games with the tie-breaker...

Well...I would like to see their new arena.....
