Simpson MRI result

The MRI news on MU men's hoops freshman Yaniv Simpson is sort of mixed. Coach Calloway gave me the result today. There is no stress fracture.. but there are signs of one
starting and Simpson will see the doctor again Thursday. I guess that means he stays off
his feet for a while...

Simpson is the 6-3 guard from Israel, 21 years old, who was first looked at by Seton
Hall and recommended to MU by former Monmouth assistant Geoff Billet, now at SHU.
Simpson is a deadly 3-point shooter and polished player who would, I believe, make an impact
this season off the bench at the 2 or 3 positions.
