Frazier homers but RU loses
Todd Frazier, featured in the lead story in Tuesday's Asbury Park Press, belted his 10th home run of the year, a 3-run shot that started the Knights back from a 6-0 deficit.
But the bullpen of RU (27-27-1) failed to hold an 8-6 lead in a 9-8 loss to Louisville (29-28) in the BIG East championships.
Frazier, former TR South High School star, went 1-for-3 with a walksier
RU drops into the loser's bracket of the double elimination event and will next play at 10 a.m. Wednesday.
Pitching, pitching, pitching. Maybe Casey Gaynor will help,
but not til next year.
