Top seeds at stake for MU in NEC soccer

How do you think it will end???? My gut feeling is MU women will host, but SFPA will defeat or tie faltering men who have dropped two of their last three games....

Men - MU will finish as the top seed : 1. only if it wins Sunday at now first place SFPA.

School NEC Pts Overall
1. St. Francis (PA) 6-1-1 19 8-7-2
2. Monmouth 6-2 18 11-4-2

Women - First place MU will finish as the top seed 1. if it defeats Mount St. Mary's (4-13, 2-6) at home Sunday, 2. if it ties and CCSU ties its game wih Sacred Heart (3-11-4, 3-2-3), 3. if it loses and CCSU ties SHU (by virtue of MU head-to-head win), or loses.

School NEC Pts Overall
1. Monmouth 6-1-1 19 10-3-4
2. Central Conn. St. 6-2 18 9-7-1

Both MU teams are in the NEC Tournaments whether they host or not

I wish I knew Tony, I havent read any reviews of the game or talked to anyone yet but I can only imagine that they may have been looking ahead to far. I hate when it comes down to this.

Sorry to miss your blog over the weekend.
The info I have about the weekend games is that Friday was a close thing. Boys played well but could not finish. Sunday's game must have be full of ups and downs. The winning goal scored by a defender in overtime and he tying goal scored by Andreas (he's defense as well isn't he?)must give Coach McCourt something to talk to the forwards about or were they so well marked that passing it off to Barstock was a brillant unexpected move.Either way it goes to the versitility and ability of this team to get the job done.
