Friday MU men's practice

Hawks went over their defense vs.. FDU. I believe I heard the name "Hazard" mentioned a few hundred times. And MU also was practicing its press breakers, especially in wake of the Monday fiasco.

""The Jet" was grounded today. Jhamar Youngblood (bruised knee) did not practice and neither did John Bunch (sore knees).

Trainer Adam Smith said he expected Youngblood to practice (10-am Sunday) but Bunch would be limited to "light practice."

He's Ok, but it's for precautionay reasons.

Yaniv Simpson (ankle), who could be back in uniform next week, was practicing shooting 3's under the eye of Chris Kenny after formal practice ended. Simpson hit 56 in five minutes. Kenny said he once made 65 in five minutes.

Kenny "officially" joined the coaching staff this week.

How about MU peaking at the right time right now? IS this familiar to anyone else. I know Howie D isnt scraed of MU, but dont you think he'd hate to see MU as a 4 or 5. The Hawks have already proved that they could beat the Bluuuue Devils for 35 minutes in New Britain. If I am CCSU or any NEC team for that matter, I do not want to face MU in the NEC tourney.
