The next (board of adjustment) meeting is Oct. 26. The school wanted a special meeting before then but the board was unable to accommodate them. Marc Policastro, an attorney for Monmouth, said the application could be completed in two hearings, which would take it into November.
My take - !!@#@!.
Sooo.. let's be optimistic and say this gets passed in Nov.or Dec. and ground breaking begins in the spring sometime ...it's then about 2-3 years after that when it opens for action....

If I was an MU athletic backer I would be incensed over these silly (in my opinion) delays that have been caused by just a very few folks in West Long Branch. Maybe some of you might think about attending the next meeting when a vote is due and observe what transpires.
