MCT awards
CBA's Vin Avella received the award for highest batting average in the tournament ..and Monday's winning pitcher Kyle Slate MVP of the final.
Freehold Township's Tom Porricelli received the 500.00 Richie Veth Scholarship award and Monmouth Reg. baseball coach Ted Jarmusz the Jim Sullivan award for contributions to Monmouth County baseball.
Well deserved for coach J. who puts his bheart and soul into his team and high school baseball at the Shore. Without him there would be no MCT. Hopefully Monmouth County ADs and the Shore Conference will work to smooth out the scheduling glitches in the MCT in 2007.
